Tim Tebow

Tim Tebow was one of the greatest freshman to ever play college football and he finished in a close second for the Heisman Trophy. He came back the next year to win the Heisman and became the first sophmore to ever receive the award. Going into his junior year with a high profile and a great team, one that would go all the way and take the title most thought he would repeat as the Heisman. Yet he fell short of the Heisman to Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford. It was unnexpected that the great qb would ever play in a college uniform again. However Tebow isn't any normal player and he came back for his senior year. Some say he hasn't had a heisman caliber year, yet the Gators still sit at number one in the ranking. So the question to you is, does Tebow deserve the heisman this year?

  1. Sure. Tebow has been a high caliber player, despite the pressure of all the national attention he draws, and at his age, that's difficult to overcome. (check your draft for needed editting)

  2. I definitely think that Tebow could win the heisman again if the Gators stay at the same pace that they have set. I believe that a lot of people are cheering for him, making the national attention a positive energy for him to rely on.

  3. I agree with both of you. He has even passed up Herschel Walker in the record books which is no laughing matter. The only thing is that there is alot of doubt in his play this year. Maybe it's because of the team around him but only time will tell.

  5. I don't think he will win. First of all, I don't think the Gators will win the national championship game-- they almost lost a close game against Arkansas, and had a couple other 10 point wins, which I don't think is strong enough. The longhorns will win the National Championship Game, and the Heisman will go to Colt McCoy.

  6. You wish Texas will win. They stand no chance. Beyond Colt McCoy they are pretty weak but if he takes them that far I agree that he will certainly win the Heisman. On the other hand there is a white running back on stanford. Yes a white running back. That is deserving of the heisman to start. So the race will be close.

  7. Well once you give me the name of another white running back in a D1 college school or the NFL then I will change my ideas. For right now a white running back is beast.
